From SciFiWire: Alison Lohman, who co-stars in the futuristic action movie Gamer, told reporters that the finished film is grounded in reality despite its sci-fi high concept. Directed by Crank’s Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, the film stars Gerard Butler as a real-life avatar in a video game in which players control actual people in real combat.

Alison has been at San Diego Comic Con ‘08 promoting ‘Drag Me To Hell’ – I have added some pics to the gallery along with some pics of her at the Wrath Of Con Party.
I’ve also found a video of the ‘Drag Me To Hell’ panel featuring Alison, Justin Long and Sam Rami. Alison talks about doing her own stunts about the 3 minute mark.

Alison Lohman has spoken out about how she likes working with strong directors.
The 28-year-old Californian worked with Danish filmmaker Susanne Bier on new film Things We Lost In The Fire, and was very impressed with her presence on set.
“Susanne is a very strong and formidable presence,” she revealed.
“She can change the ambience very quickly – it can be intense, or playful and fun with everyone laughing. She will do that by her personality.”
