March 27th, 2008 - Article about former room mate, Tricia Ridgway
Category: General | Posted by April

I found this article on Alison's former room mate and childhood friend, Tricia Ridgway (we have a photo of them both in the gallery here), it doesnt say much about Alison but gives some dates/years on Alison's earlier career. Here are the highlights:

"We were doing COD shows like 'Annie' and 'Music Man,' 'Wizard of Oz' - all these great kid shows where you become really bonded with these people," Ridgway recalled. "Alison and me, it almost brought us closer together - that mutual respect we had for each other. We each lost roles to each other and it taught us so much about the business."

Ridgway's mother opened an ice cream parlor in Palm Desert and Tricia invited her show-biz friends to perform on a tiny stage that became the desert's premier talent showcase.

"David Reuther was one of Broadway Joy's lead Singsations, along with Michael Criste and Alison (Lohman), Aubrey (O'Day), Allison Jones and Hayley Erin," Ridgway said. "(It was) a place to hone your craft. Everybody just really took to it."

When she moved to Los Angeles with Lohman, agents began directing her to a film and TV career.

Trisha on Alison Lohman: “We went our separate ways maybe three years ago. Obviously her career has taken off and she’s traveling and just consumed with what she does. She was filming a show in Vancouver (“Matchstick Men”), she had a boyfriend from there, so that’s when the distance started to take precedent. It was not a falling out. I wish her all the best.

The article also features a timeline and here are the dates that comes into play with Alison:

1990: Appears as orphan Pepper with Alison Lohman, and Aubrey O' Day in College of the Desert production of “Annie” [Alison was Annie]

1992: Draws raves with Korman and Lohman in local talent show, “Youthquake,” singing “Nothing” from “A Chorus Line”

1997: Wins 10-week karaoke contest at Casino Morongo, earning $1,000, a guest spot with the Frankie Randall-Pat Rizzo Orchestra and an eight-day trip to Hawaii, which she takes with Alison Lohman.

1999: Moves into an L.A. apartment with Alison Lohman

There are some trivia bits about Alison's earlier career! :)

Category: Movies > Drag Me to Hell | Posted by April

Latino Review has put out a script review for the upcoming 'Drag Me To Hell'. Click here to read about their review of the script of the up coming film which will star Alison and Justin Long.

Rumors are that Ellen Page now dropped out of the film because of a poor script.

On a positive note, 'Cloverfield' actress Jessica Lucas has joined the cast and will be playing Alison's room mate and filming starts next week.
